Now considered as the first ever "one-shot" story of Atom in Tetsuwan Atom manga, Atom Taishi was first published as many 5-6 pages short parts in the magazine Shônen, from April 1951 to March 1952. That is how was story manga in magazine during the 1950s. It's like Tetsuwan Atom (as well as Tetsujin 28) is made of little series inside the series.
